Richmond, CA April 29, 2002 (Reuter) --Richmond, CA April 29, 2002 -- TCG Student Services, the world's top advisory network has been selected to advise young participants of the Max Mentoring Program. A San Francisco Bay Area based non-profit organization, The Max Mentoring Program is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth prepare for the S.A.T, as well as provide them with assistance in the college application process.
The relationship between these two elite organizations began not long after Max Mentoring staff member Justin Pickard became a member of TCG's global network. "About two months into my own personal membership, I suddenly realized the potential TCG Student Services had to effect change in the lives of the kids I work with through the Max Mentoring Program." Normally, because of liability and age issues, TCG Student Services is not able to provide advisory services to minors. However, thanks to the vision and resourcefulness of Mr. Pickard and his colleagues, the two parties were able to enter into a unique contractual agreement, enabling TCG Student Services to provide valuable guidance to youth at such a critical phase in their life.
"Being able to work with youth presents an incredible opportunity for TCG Student Services," said Thomas White, a regional Vice President of Business Development for TCG Student Services. "We are always excited to welcome young members into our network, as we feel that with our guidance, they will become the leaders of tomorrow, and will fuel the growth of TCG Student Services in the years to come. Moreover, it is particularly gratifying to serve the underserved, supplementing the often limited guidance resources available in our public High Schools."
The eAdvisory services will help Max Mentoring Program participants with the variety of challenges and questions that arise in formidable High School years. Max Mentoring participants will have complete access to TCG's entire eAdvisory product suite. Both parties look forward to a long-term, robust relationship, and TCG looks forward to expanding its presence to other High Schools
